Make your way to Kathmandu this May on 29 as Outdoor Adventure Center Nepal is celebrating the OAC Mountain Festival 2019.
Each year, OAC Nepal organizes the Mountain Festival to welcome back our Himalayan Heroes at the end of spring climbing season to celebrate success and rejoice memories of their daring adventures. We believe this gala will help climbers cherish their almighty times at mountain and appreciate the joy of landing back safely. Through this event we aim to create an environment to respect and honor the Guiding profession and Mountaineering Sport with acknowledgement and appreciation of their courage & achievement and their sincere contribution towards National economy.
The theme of this year’s festival marks as a centenary celebrations of 100 years since Sir Ed’s birth and commemorate his continuous legacy in Nepal – his work through the Himalayan Trust to improve education and wellness of communities in the remote mountainous regions of Nepal.
May 29 also signifies the first ascent of Mt. Everest by Sir Edmund Hillary and Tenzing Norgay Sherpa and the end of the spring climbing season as well.
This year, we aim to embark OAC Mountain festival as a day to celebrate courage and inspire millions around the world.
