Description

The Buddha Jayanti Music Fest aims to celebrate music, culture, and community spirit through a vibrant festival experience. As part of the festivities, two esteemed national artists will grace the stage with their captivating performances, promising an unforgettable musical journey for all attendees.

Trishna Gurung, a prominent Nepalese singer and former coach on The Voice of Nepal Season 3, has made significant contributions to the Nepali music industry. Known for popular songs like "Maya Pirati," "Gurasai Fulyo," and "Relaima," she began her career in 2007 with the song "Daiba Janos." Her talent has earned her nominations for awards such as the Hits FM Music Award and the Radio Kantipur Music Award. With her versatile voice and captivating performances, she continues to captivate audiences with hits like "Timi ra Ma" and "Sajhako Bela."

Rockheads, a pop/indie rock group from Kathmandu, formed in 2010, initially started as a cover band in the Thamel music scene. They gained recognition as finalists in the Pepsi Voice of Nepal 2013 competition with their debut single "For My Love." Despite lineup changes and members' involvement in other projects, they reunited in 2020 during the pandemic, releasing their single "Sidha Kura" and solidifying their presence in the music scene. Over time, they evolved their lineup and released hits like "Ranga" and "Hajar Janma." Currently, with a stable lineup, they embarked on their first Nepal tour in October, showcasing their talent across various venues. Follow them on social media for updates and catch them live if you can!
