The first part of the journey from Lobuche to Phortse returns along the same path as the climb to Lobuche from Dingboche. Then continue towards Pheriche, the town is just over the hill from Dingboche. The way up to Dingboche is found just below Pheriche and again fly the same way up to Pangboche. From Pangboche the route climbs a bit but crosses through the most beautiful and ancient villages. Amadablam rises just above the Tyangboche Monastery. You can enjoy the beautiful landscape of the area to reach Phortse.

Along the way you can enjoy agricultural fields and different vegetations. The road connects with Sangnasa another with the canine path to the base camp of Mt. Everest. Return the same way to reach Namche Bazaar.
